Goliath’s Special Attacks
Flame Rock
After Goliath absorbs a huge piece of debris or a car, he will shoot it out at you. If you have Gerbera equipped, you can throw the projectile back at him for damage
Cyclone
Goliath will unleash a tornado from his stomach. If you get caught in the cyclone, quickly break away to avoid being sucked inside Goliath.
Goliath Boss Strategy
Put a certain distance from Goliath
Most (but not all) of Goliath’s attacks require him to be near you to hit you so keeping a specific distance away from him before retaliating with attacks of your own is a good strategy. Nero does not have the best evasion on his own, so wait for opportunities to damage Goliath like when he finishes his combos and recovers from the animation.
Make use of Gerbera’s good evasion
Gerbera allows you to fire a shockwave that launches Nero out of the boss’ attack path. Use it to avoid Goliath’s swings.
Use Wire Snatch to close the distance
Wire Snatch allows you to quickly get to Goliath if mid-range from him. This is good for punishing the boss when you get behind him and he is still attacking in the wrong direction. Note that Wire Snatch has a limited range and won’t grapple onto the boss if you are too far away.
