Gilgamesh Attack Pattern
Since Gilgamesh does not have an awakened state, all of its attacks are the same throughout the entire battle.
Thunder Bullet
| Tell | Tentacles shine. |
|---|---|
| Effect | Shoots bullets toward the target. |
| Counter Play | Avoid using side roll. |
Small Missile
| Tell | Fire raises from its back. |
|---|---|
| Effect | Explodes on impact on the target. |
| Counter Play | Create some distance or use side rolls. |
Extending Spikes
| Tell | Distortion above its head |
|---|---|
| Effect | Thorns extend from its head. |
| Counter Play | Evade by jumping. |
Gilgamesh Strategy
Destroy the brittle part of the leg
Each joint on the boss' four can be broken to make a grinding grip appear.
Jump on the boss' head using the grinding grip
When the grinding grip appears, jump on its head using Wiresnatch and attack the beast's weak point.
Reducing it to one-third health will trigger a cutscene.
V rejoins with Nero in the cutscene. Attack its weak point afterward to defeat it.
