Mission 20 Walkthrough
After the cutscene, you will begin a battle with Vergil. Since there are no important items to collect here, focus on the boss battle.
Boss: Vergil
Counter the boss' attacks when you get the chance
Vergil has a high defense that won't allow you to do a lot of damage. Try to whittle down his health in the gaps between Vergil's attacks.
Use Devil Trigger when Vergil is helpless
Vergil will open up to further attack after being attacked a few times. You can use this time to deal high amounts damage on him with Devil Trigger.
Press the R2 button to activate Buster and deal heavy damage. It would be a waste to use it immediately, so wait until the last minute to activate Buster.
Defeat the illusion when it comes out
When Vergil's HP falls to half, he will activate Devil Trigger and create an illusion of himself. Given its light blue color, it is easy not to tell the illusion apart from the real Vergil. However, you'll need to defeat it first.
