Goliath 2nd Battle Attack Pattern
Hook
| Tell | Swings its right arm like a pendulum. |

| Effect | Performs a combination of punches. |
| Counter Play | Move away using Farthest Move. |
Striking Punch
| Tell | Holds its arms above its head. |
|---|---|
| Effect | Swings its arms forward. |
| Counter Play | Move away using Farthest Move. |
Flame Rock
| Tell | Stomach opens and glows red. |
|---|---|
| Effect | Shoots out a flaming mass. |
| Counter Play | Move away using Farthest Move. |
Goliath 2nd Battle Strategy
Summon Nightmare when the battle starts
Summon Nightmare near Goliath when the battle starts to deal heavy opening damage.
Keep yourself from being attacked
Summoning Nightmare will cause Goliath to attack it instead of V, allowing him to move to safety.
Attack with Shadow and Griffon
Use Shadow and Griffon while Nightmare is attacking Goliath. Using all three makes it possible to defeat Goliath with only a single Nightmare summon.
Have Shadow with you when you battle Goliath
You can still defeat Goliath quickly if you use Nightmare and Shadow, even if you don't have Griffon yet.
