Artemis Attack Pattern
Forward beam
| Tell | Crosses both hands in front of its chest while spreading its feathers |
|---|---|
| Effect | Releases a beam horizontally. Uses it immediately when the boss fight begins. |
| Counter Play | Use Shadow's Forced Move. |
Fan Beam
| Tell | Wings shine while its arms cross over its stomach |
|---|---|
| Effect | Beam that spreads out like a fan toward the target. |
| Counter Play | Avoid with Shadow's Forced Move or Griffon's Switchback. |
Fan Beam 2
| Tell | Wings shine while arms cross over its stomach |
|---|---|
| Effect | Beam that spreads out like a fan in two rows, above and below, toward the target. |
| Counter Play | Avoid with Shadow's Forced Move or Griffon's Switchback. |
Descending Beam
| Tell | Gathers feathers on its head then spreads its wings, feathers facing upward. |
|---|---|
| Effect | A beam that comes down from above. |
| Counter Play | Use Forced Move or just avoid with normal movement. |
Large Forward Beam
| Tell | Crosses arms over its head and charges for a few seconds. |
|---|---|
| Effect | Fires a beam from its chest. Sustains the beam for several seconds. |
| Counter Play | Avoid by repeatedly using Shadow's Forced Move. |
Rush
| Tell | Rotates once |
|---|---|
| Effect | Rushes towards the target. If you come near a wall, Artemis will turn and rush at you again. Repeat this several times and it will stop attacking. |
| Counter Play | Avoid using Shadow's Forced Move. |
Artemis Strategy Guide
Use Nightmare, Shadow, and Griffon to take the boss down. Summon Nightmare at Artemis' location and aggressively attack using melee and ranged strikes with Shadow and Griffon.
Avoiding the beam
All beam attacks can be avoided using Shadow's Forced Move, which takes less time than avoiding with Griffon.
