1話
あぁ、どうしたものか。
英気を養うため、みんなで湖へと遊びに来たのだが……
「犬かきならできるもん！
ばぁか、ばぁか、ばぁぁぁか！」
そう言ってモーザは泣いて逃げていった。
犬かきなら、か。ずっと私にしがみついてるだけだったが……
……こういう時、ソフィアやヴァルリーデなら
もっと上手くできるんだろうな。
はぁ、本当にどうしたものか。
2話
私も初めて水に入った時は少しドキドキしたが、
何もあそこまで怯えなくても。
ケルベロスはあんなに楽しそうに飛び込んでいったのに……
しかし、この場にいる子は私よりも幼い子達ばかり。
領主殿からみんなの引率を任された身としても、
私が何とかしなくては。
そうだ、まずは水に慣れさせる所から始めよう。
遊んでいれば怖い気持ちもなくなるだろう。
そう思って水遊びをしているみんなの元へモーザも連れていったのだが……
「だ、だから、こっちこないで！
水は、水だけはダメなんだってば！」
モーザは全速力で逃げていった。
一体、何故……
3話
モーザに嫌われてしまった。
「そおれ！」がいけなかったのか。
それとも「いきますわよ！」か。
「どっかーん！」は私もやりすぎだとは思ったが……
ふぅ、どうしたものか。
いつの間にか、みんな、湖に戻って水遊びを再開していた。
モーザは少し離れた所からそれを見ていて……
やはり仲間に入りたいんだな。
ここは引率者として私が……！
その時だった。湖から悲鳴が聞こえた。
驚いて声のした方を見ると、湖の中で子供達がうずくまり、水面に浮かぶように呪いの獣が立っていた。
あいつの仕業か……！
私は領主殿からみんなの事を任されたんだ。
ここは私が……！
4話
しかしその時、獣の鳴き声と共に霧が周囲を覆った。
嫌な感じがする……あの時と同じだ。
あの日、騎士達が放った殺気が村全体を包み込み、そして魔女狩りが始まった時と。
異変を感じた時には全てが手遅れで……
そのせいで母さんも……っ
――サブリナ。
この声はまさか……いや、そんな筈はない。
だってあの時……
霧の中から、母が現われた。
あの頃と同じように、優しく私に微笑んで……
だけど次の瞬間、母の体が炎に包まれた。
――助けて、サブリナ。
そう言って母は私に手を伸ばすが……
違う。これは幻影、本当の母ではない。
だけど……
――またあなたは見ているだけで何もしてくれないのね。
……っそうだ、あの時、私はただ見ていた。
炎に呑まれていった母を前に、何もせず……
5話
あの時、私は何もできなかった。
焚き火の中に放り込まれた母を前に、何も……
私の名前を何度も呼んでいたのにっ……
私はいまだ過去に囚われたまま。
あの日の光景が脳裏によぎり、体が動かない。
駆け寄るどころか、手を伸ばす事すらできず……
何もできない、無力な……
「サブリナ！」
その時、モーザが私の名前を叫んだ。
見れば彼女は湖の中にいた。あんなに嫌がっていたのに……
「お母さんは安心して眠っている。なのにサブリナがそんなんじゃ、心配で飛び起きちゃうよ」
ほら見せてあげなよ。今のサブリナをーー
そうだ、今の私は幼く無力な少女じゃない。
みんなの、領主殿の仲間のサブリナだ！
手を伸ばせ。前に進むんだ！

頼ってくれる仲間が、信じてくれる仲間がいる。

手の中の光が道を阻む炎を消した。

伸ばされた母の手を、私は掴んだ。
あの日の事を生涯忘れる事はできない。それは呪いのように私の中に在り続ける。それでも……
「ずっと思い出すのすら怖かった。だけど今は違う。私はこの傷と共に生きていく。だから……おやすみ」
7話
幻影の母は優しく微笑むと、やがて消滅した。
――さようなら、母さん。私は、仲間と共に進みます。
心の中で別れを告げた後、私は顔を上げ、残る敵を見据えた。
素早く剣を構え、立ち塞がる幻影を斬り裂き、前へ進む。
そのまま勢いを殺さず、獣を、貫く！
――はああああ！
泡が弾けて消えるように呪いの獣が消滅し、周囲の霧も晴れた。あぁ勝てたんだ。私は、私自身に……
この手に宿る新たな光が、その証。
周囲で元に戻った子供達が動き始めた。
良かった、みんなも無事みたいだ。
「やったな、モーザ」
私がモーザに声をかけると、彼女は得意げにいった。当然でしょって。
「ところでモーザ。こんなに深くても平気だなんて、水嫌いを克服したんだな」
「……あわわわわっ……やっぱり水はだめ～～～
ライラぁぁ、たすけてぇぇぇぇ！！」
あれだけ元気に湖の中を走り回れるとは……あの成長速度、私も見習わないといけないな。
第1話
唉……這下該怎麼辦。
為了養精蓄銳，大家一起到湖邊來渡假，
