Strategy
First Stage - Fight Strategy
Evade the floating spirit balls so that your fear meter won't increase. The level of fear you'll receive depends on which kind of floating ball you hit. The bigger the ball, the more fear it generates.
Avoiding the Huge Spirit Balls
Dodge the huge balls by sidestepping just before they land on you.
Hiding behind Rocks
You can also hide behind rocks when the Shichimen Warrior hurls the huge spirit ball at you. Once the coast is clear, you can rush towards him and deal damage.
The Shichimen Warrior strikes the ground with his spear, summoning a lot of floating spirit balls that increase your Fear. This is unavoidable, especially when you're close to him.
After the attack, there will be a short period where he is vulnerable. Strike him at this time.
He uses his unblockable attack whenever he grasps his sword and it starts to glow. He will then slash and it is followed by a large spirit ball.
Second Stage - Fight Strategy
After you take out the Shichimen Warrior's first HP bar, he will resort to jumping around the battlefield and clinging to walls while he continues to summon spirits. He will also shoot a beam at you from long range. You can avoid the damage by deflecting the beam just before it hits you. From here, take the same strategy as before to beat him.
