Ashina Depths Walkthrough

Sculptor's Idol：Abandoned Prison Entrance

1. Go out of the prison and cross the bridge.
   The Sculptor's Idol statues are locked inside the Ashina Castle again. Take the time to open them one by one.
2. Go into the river below and proceed to the path inside the underground waterway.
3. Continue moving forward and open the gates to enter Ashina Castle and unlock the Sculptor's Idol.

Sculptor's Idol：Ashina Reservoir

1. Climb the stairs and go up the roof to the left to unlock the next Sculptor's Idol.
   Powerful enemies appear at the top of the great stairway. Avoid them and focus on opening the Sculptor's Idol. You can also kill them one by one by using a sneak attack, but don't fight them all at once.

Sculptor's Idol：Upper Tower - Antechamber

1. You will fight a Chained Ogre once you head to the room on the lower floor.
2. Go to the top and activate the Sculptor's Idol

Sculptor's Idol：Upper Tower - Ashina Dojo

1. Defeat the Lone Shadow Vilehand in the next room.
   Take out the enemy to the left of the door once you enter the room with the mini-boss. It is easier to deal with him if you have the Puppeteer Ninjutsu.
2. Head outside from the window and move up toward the highest point of the area.
3. Talk to Owl. Choose between Obey the Iron Code, forsake Kuro or Break the Iron Code, stay loyal to Kuro.
   If you choose the former, you will have to battle Emma, the Gentle Blade. If you choose the latter, you will fight Owl.

Choosing "Obey the Iron Code, forsake Kuro"

1. Once you defeat Emma, the Gentle Blade, you will fight Isshin Ashina
   Use as little healing gourd as possible during the battle with Emma because you will use it more while fighting Isshin.
2. After defeating both bosses, you will receive "Memory: Isshin Ashina" and a secret technique for Sekiro after getting the "Shura" ending.
   If you choose the former, you will have to battle Emma, the Gentle Blade. If you choose the latter, you will fight Owl.

BOSS: Emma, the Gentle Blade

• Avoid Emma's cross slash and don't try to parry it.
• Make sure to counter Emma's four consecutive strikes by parrying them first or kill her before the attack comes.
• Avoid her dangerous attacks by side-stepping.

BOSS: Isshin Ashina

• After Isshin performs a normal slash, parry.
• If you attack Isshin, there is a chance that he will counterattack.
• He will use the flames around the area to strengthen his attacks during his 2nd HP bar.
